Long time no see once again but here I am slowly but surely steadily adding content to this probably long forgotten place on the internet.<br>

It has been a really hot year for Blood Bowl for me, finally managing to finish not only one (<a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.com/2018/07/blood-bowl-orc-team-orcland-raiders.html" target="_blank">see my Orcland Raiders team if you haven't already</a>) but two with the latest addition of the brand new Nurgle Rotters team.<br>

Hello everyone<br>

After what seemed (and probably was) a lifetime of hiatus this is my latest blog update. I hope there are still people out there willing to read and see what I have to show but nevertheless, here I am writing down my latest hobby achievements.<br>

<br></div>
Hello everyone!<br>
<br>
Back again with an article bringing you a tutorial on a process that most of you modelers have definitely stumbled upon.<br>
<br>
As you may probably have seen in my <a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/2017/12/merry-christmas-to-all-straight-from.html" target="_blank">previous article</a>, I am back on the modeling train and this time I am getting excited on the brand new Necromunda release.<br>
<br>
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-w8IiOsBoDbU/WluGkikiNWI/AAAAAAAAkrc/WC4muliPbMUJ0WzIw8_WmqF8XKa6wI2ggCLcBGAs/s1600/paint%2Bstripping%2Btut.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="315" data-original-width="560" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-w8IiOsBoDbU/WluGkikiNWI/AAAAAAAAkrc/WC4muliPbMUJ0WzIw8_WmqF8XKa6wI2ggCLcBGAs/s1600/paint%2Bstripping%2Btut.png"></a><br>
<br>
That being said, being an old school gamer I love my old school minis more than anything so I figured out that this is a marvelous idea to bring them out of their boxes and make them 2018 compatible.<br>
</div><a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.com/2018/01/paint-removal-tutorial.html#more">Read more »</a>Home Of Cadaverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07540237956554444284noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3797196620343598258.post-55526313894584008462017-12-26T16:39:00.000+02:002017-12-26T16:39:08.398+02:00Merry Christmas to all, straight from the Underhive<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
Hello and Ho Ho Ho!!<br />
<br />
Merry Christmas to all! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and your stockings are full of wargaming and modelling presents.<br />
<br />
You may have noticed my <a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/2017/10/shadow-war-armageddon-ork-german-ww2.html" target="_blank">Shadow War Armageddon post</a> lately. It really woke my primordial lust for Necromunda. Don't get me wrong, Shadow War is a great game, it is based on the original Necromunda mechanics anyways so it was like playing the same game again, but it kinda missed something! The original Necromunda gangs! I wanted to field my good old gangs that were picking up dust.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GCohPEgiEo8/WkJcEP6qTlI/AAAAAAAAkcQ/j2xIXPRCdIcp8Lf_7f1-PK54xbZRzmdUgCLcBGAs/s1600/blog%2Bcover.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="315" data-original-width="560" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GCohPEgiEo8/WkJcEP6qTlI/AAAAAAAAkcQ/j2xIXPRCdIcp8Lf_7f1-PK54xbZRzmdUgCLcBGAs/s1600/blog%2Bcover.png" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I know it took me a while to mention Necromunda in this blog, especially since you know I love my <a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/search?q=arbites" target="_blank">Adeptus Arbites </a>so much but I have been busy as hell lately. Now with all this Christmas vacation in front of me I have decided to make some of the lost time up and update my Necromunda craze.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-k5to7K7PLdg/WkJdHIzpreI/AAAAAAAAkck/9_LZGqcogq40OG5FtZt1serncExdTMBggCKgBGAs/s1600/IMG_20171226_131231.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1197" height="640" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-k5to7K7PLdg/WkJdHIzpreI/AAAAAAAAkck/9_LZGqcogq40OG5FtZt1serncExdTMBggCKgBGAs/s640/IMG_20171226_131231.jpg" width="478" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
One of my all time favorite warbands are definitely house Delaque. There is something so Matrix-ey and ultra cool about guys all dressed up in longcoats. As an added bonus, their fluff of them being so sneaky traitors and backstabbers really gets my gears going.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4CHYqRyrsEo/WkJeQZPDHRI/AAAAAAAAkc4/5nLBOt17YCwmy3Wybp70f7Z4k4DkcSf8QCLcBGAs/s1600/Delaque%2B%25281%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="401" data-original-width="326" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4CHYqRyrsEo/WkJeQZPDHRI/AAAAAAAAkc4/5nLBOt17YCwmy3Wybp70f7Z4k4DkcSf8QCLcBGAs/s320/Delaque%2B%25281%2529.jpg" width="260" /></a></div>
<br />
My Delaque warband is almost complete. It consists of every oldschool model released back in the day with the exception of the 2nd leader variant with the power axe. I have decided to have a complete makeover and rebuilt the models to make them look more up to date.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Eab-7cDl9Ds/WkJcrpd8_AI/AAAAAAAAkcY/InJTk1EWpQgwP6U55yy6xUZUIzKkIlBPACKgBGAs/s1600/IMG_20171226_131219.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1197" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Eab-7cDl9Ds/WkJcrpd8_AI/AAAAAAAAkcY/InJTk1EWpQgwP6U55yy6xUZUIzKkIlBPACKgBGAs/s640/IMG_20171226_131219.jpg" width="478" /></a></div>
<br />
The models were painted really bad back in the day, not from my hands and I always wanted to repaint them at some point but I never got around doing it. So what better timing now than the official rebooting of the whole Necromunda game.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_Xl_JTZy_os/WkJcyzNQmsI/AAAAAAAAkcc/kSAM4WEE9MwBQaXktIxRd0yPCG9S8ILQQCKgBGAs/s1600/IMG_20171226_130738.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1197" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_Xl_JTZy_os/WkJcyzNQmsI/AAAAAAAAkcc/kSAM4WEE9MwBQaXktIxRd0yPCG9S8ILQQCKgBGAs/s640/IMG_20171226_130738.jpg" width="476" /></a></div>
<br />
That said, the models needed their paint stripped. I have a technique that works really well both on metal and plastic and I will share it with you on a different article because I think that it will be of interest to a lot of you. Keep your eyes peeled then.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aWdL1ftwiTs/WkJdBZ1nJyI/AAAAAAAAkcg/Auln-taBj8cuUCbNuLsv-AJvhZ5aDpx2QCKgBGAs/s1600/IMG_20171226_131237.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1197" data-original-width="1600" height="297" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aWdL1ftwiTs/WkJdBZ1nJyI/AAAAAAAAkcg/Auln-taBj8cuUCbNuLsv-AJvhZ5aDpx2QCKgBGAs/s400/IMG_20171226_131237.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
The other thing that kinda puzzled me with this restoration project was the base size. GW has introduced 32" bases to the new Goliath gang in the boxed set and I didn't want to have my Delaque based wrong. It seems though that Goliath are based like that on purpose because of their bulkiness. Having this in mind, I started basing them to the good ol 25" size. You can see some of the progress done in the following pictures.<br />
<br />
So there you have it, stay tuned for more Necromunda madness the next days ;)<br />
<br />
Till next time take care!<br />

Hello everyone!<br>
<br>
Following my latest ork craze I have decided to revisit some of my ancient conversions that I feel very proud of. If you follow my little piece of the internet here more regularly, you may have already noticed my <a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/2017/03/space-orks-evil-sunz-mek-on-deff-jetbike.html" target="_blank">Ork Mek Jetbike</a> I have posted some time ago.<br>
<br>
This time I took the time to modernize a conversion so old, that it is not valid with the current fluff anymore but I don't give a rats ass about that :P<br>
<br>
I present to you, my version of Wazdakka Gutzmek, the infamous Evil Suns speed freak<br>

Hello everyone!<br />

Being on a creative spree I have decided to finish my latest project, something which I had a hard time deciding what eventually is, untill you people gave me a revelation. I present to you <b>Mek Gitfixa on his deff-jetbike.</b><br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="text-align: left;">This model has started as a project more than 10 years ago. Yes, you heard that right. It has been sitting on my bench on various stages for more than a decade. It originally started as a count as deffcopta, back when they were first introduced as a unit choice. I wanted to field some but it was impossible to find a model since the only alternative was the </span><a href="http://www.warhammerkorea.com/zbxe/files/attach/images/73541/987/859/4645757.jpg" style="text-align: left;" target="_blank">original gorkamorka model</a><span style="text-align: left;"> which was even then extremely rare and oop.<br /><br />I had always a great thing for conversions, especially orky ones. Orks were my very first Warhammer army and it really got me into modelling and converting all sorts of waky vehicles and individuals. So I decided to rummage my bits box for suitable bits to create a deffcopta model to use in my games.<br /><br />The main model I used was an old Warzone jeep model (I really don't remember what model though, I will make my research and I will edit this article so keep an eye on this space, unless someone out there finds out earlier so please comment below if you remember :) ). The jet packs are 2nd edition ork pulsa rokkits, the chainsaws in front are Catachan saws from the Catachan Sentinel set, Rokkets are from an 1:48 figher jet kit and various bits from the ork boys sprue, includng the Mek boy itself, with sculpted googles to add character. There are various sculpted parts in the model to integrate all bits seamlessly in the final model.<br /><br />I went with a typical Evil Sunz paint sceme, staying true to the mythos that Red ones go fasta, a machine like this must definitely go faster than anything else this Mek has ever created, although it will probably kill him eventually. I have tried some flame patterns and checkers both freehand and transfers to add to the final orkyness.<br /><br />So there you have it. My first finished ork project for a long time, and I hope definitely not the last. I would love to hear what you people think. If you have any questions concerning the overall conversion process I would be happy to help so feel free to hit me with anything in the comments below. As always I would love to see your votes on <a href="http://www.coolminiornot.com/411061" target="_blank">CoolMiniOrNot</a><br /><br />Till next time, take care! </span></div>

The model is based on an old Warzone model and lots of various orky bits and gubbinz. I am going of course for a full old school evil sunz paint scheme. </div>

Hello everyone!<br />
<br />
I have decided to pe parted with some of the models of my collection mainly because I want to invest on some new hardware for my workshop (more on that on a later post ;) ) and of course because these are models I am definitely sure I won't be doing anything with them in the future so I guess it is only fair to have someone else be happy to own them.<br />
<br />
These are the first two items I am putting out for sale. I have decided to avoid ebay for the time being, and try to find a buyer throught more conventional methods. So here I am posting them here first so as to get the opportunity to buy them if interested without those pesky extra ebay charges.<br />

Hello everyone!<br />
<br />
I am really happy to announce that I have just finished this years <b>Dreadtober Challenge</b> from <a href="https://brokenpaintbrush.com/" target="_blank">The Broken Paintbrush.</a><br />
<br />
After a month of (not so) hard work, I managed to finish a model that I had it sitting in my closet for the past 4 years (at least). The motivation and inspiration that everyone gave me with their wonderful participations was really outstanding and I can't wait to see everyone's finished models.<br />
<br />
Without further ado then, here is my finished addition to my ever-growing <a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/#uds-search-results" target="_blank">Death Guard</a> army.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The model has been made using a similar palette with the rest of my army, trying to keep a uniform theme. I am glad I achieved that, bearing in mind that the previous model I tried painting for this army was aeons ago, I am glad I can still remember the colors I used.</div>
<br />
That said, I tried using some new techniques, mainly with the airbrush. The model was sprayed various bone and white tones to create the main shadows and highlights.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MzxnNc9ISlo/WBNp-IJK6uI/AAAAAAAAWPQ/M8xuIN8KA_wR2VmP_osGCza_9gx__oVagCKgB/s1600/IMG_20161015_145423.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MzxnNc9ISlo/WBNp-IJK6uI/AAAAAAAAWPQ/M8xuIN8KA_wR2VmP_osGCza_9gx__oVagCKgB/s400/IMG_20161015_145423.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It was then heavily weathered using a variety of brown and black inks and glazes to match the rugged and venerable look that I love creating on my Death Guard models, some WIPs of that stage you can see on <a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/2016/10/death-guard-contemptor-dreadnought-wip_21.html" target="_blank">my previous posts</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The model was finished painting the wonderful resin base from <a href="http://www.modelsandminis.com/" target="_blank">Models and Minis</a> in metallic tones.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I could have added more details on colours and techniques used but I am short on time right now, if there are any questions I would be really happy to answer them in the comments and of course I would be more than happy to hear what you think!</div>
<br />
Finally, don't forget to leave me a vote on <a href="http://www.coolminiornot.com/405422" target="_blank">CoolMiniOrNot</a> if you have the time! :)<br />
<br />
Till next time and project, take care!<br />

Hello everyone!<br />
<br />
This week I have continued work on my Death Guard Contemptor Dreadnought as part of the <a href="https://brokenpaintbrush.com/dreadtober-participants-2016/" target="_blank">Dreadtober Challenge #2</a> and I must say that I reached a point with weathering that I am happy with. The main colors are finished and I will move on now to the metallics.<br />
<br />
I have already did the base colors of the metallics, for both the model and the base. I know that this weeks challenge is the base itself, but I have it already finished since I was lasy enough to use a <a href="http://www.modelsandminis.com/" target="_blank">resin scenic</a> base for my model :P<br />
<br />
I have been working on the model for quite a long time, when I realised that I needed to be adding some green too, as the color sceme of the Death Guard has green in it, something that completely slipped my mind. So here I was, completely covering all my hard worked weathering on the shoulder pads and knee pads with green and of course I had to reweather the specific areas again... That cost me some time but it wasn't such a big fuss after all.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
That said, here is the current WIPs of my model. There are a lot of things still needed to be done but I think we are getting there...<br /><br />

Hello everyone!<br />
<br />
Joe from <a href="https://brokenpaintbrush.com/">Broken Paintbrush</a> got me digging up my Forgeworld boxes to build something I have purchased aeons ago with his <a href="https://brokenpaintbrush.com/dreadtober-participants-2016/">Dreadtober Challenge #2</a> , the Contemptor Dreadnought<br />

<br />
As you may probably have already seen from the pics, I tried to keep it as simple and original as possible. The model itself is a beauty and I dont want to spoil it with too many conversions. That said, I only added some Death Guard photo ethced iconography that I had laying around, adding to the model fluff and flavor. The model is based on a resin base from <a href="http://www.modelsandminis.com/">http://www.modelsandminis.com/</a>.<br />
Oddly enough, the model proved to be a pain in assembly mostly trying to find the correct pose. I wanted to pose it like it is searching for its next target, setting aside all obstacles in its way. <br />
<br />
For the painting part, I am planning to keep it as close as possible with my other <a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/search?q=Death+Guard">Death Guard</a> models, extremely weathered and battle torn.<br />
<br />
Keep an eye on further updates as I will start painting it soon, as part of the challenge I must keep the project rolling and finish it by the end of the month.<br />
<br />
As always comments and remarks are more than welcome!</div>

Hello everyone<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PNRSdyuuiF0/V8gtFMA_PxI/AAAAAAAAUYY/LZXeWm1HurgN6tHAZ3RGJa4NuG8AQpzOACLcB/s1600/plague%2Bcart%2Blogo%2B1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="385" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PNRSdyuuiF0/V8gtFMA_PxI/AAAAAAAAUYY/LZXeWm1HurgN6tHAZ3RGJa4NuG8AQpzOACLcB/s400/plague%2Bcart%2Blogo%2B1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Quite a few time ago, I had a small talk with a friend of mine about how great Mordheim really is. He and his local club had just started a small campaign and I thought that it would be really nice to jump into action and remember the good old days. My all time favorite Witch Hunter warband would be glad to burn some witches once more but I thought that a new one would be much better. In our talk we also discussed about the ridiculus prices Mordheim models and warbands are sold on ebay and the discussion ended on the Plague Cart of the Carnival of Chaos.<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pDNTyctolVs/T4VjLTqketI/AAAAAAAAA34/qbSESmuRS3s/s1600/m1252193_99111101009_MordPlagueCartMain_445x319.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="286" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pDNTyctolVs/T4VjLTqketI/AAAAAAAAA34/qbSESmuRS3s/s400/m1252193_99111101009_MordPlagueCartMain_445x319.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">the original model that Games Workshop released</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
This model goes for prices of up to 150 Pounds on ebay and I really didn't want to spend all these money on such a (not so great after all) model. Therefore, the idea really came into my mind, I should make one of my own.<br />
<br />
Not so long ago, I <a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/2016/01/so-it-begins.html" target="_blank">have purchased my own 3D printer</a> and since then <a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/2016/01/expanding-3d-universe.html" target="_blank">I had a ton of fun </a>creating <a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/2016/01/m5-british-halftrack-3d-printed.html" target="_blank">all sorts of things</a>, so I have decided to use it for this project as well. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
I have found a nice <a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:58092" target="_blank">file over the internet</a> for a carnival cart and I decided to use this as a base model.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
After quite a few hours of printing the end result is the following</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/yOX17odR-2QXVd8b29Wr7fBMlGFYv0ToLUbY7zSCHw3WBs_nj2SoTI6L8ZjvQxMyUYNga9UovN7HHOHr9CdPsh29kCmtbL0rh_x-2YBaXYCVk3JZEOUsxAFgo8PaLs0WbWKo490zvYzUQgpO9jFd_18W1yOMVaDrCBne96UZxReN5HHJ0RCWmdiSWTtpaYUOUviyNJRPYxwikPpDsztDmH9mNiBHnK9OKBxNzcFebKNqiq9Uy7_MysuGOS2kVwdd9uUr51-y8s7_DZuEdoC3LgO5YO8KatzknxBBF893a5S08V6bIQ3kAdurXxeNUPZgVtEJWtpm66-Nw4jM_mfhfHKy0qt3ZEYadY94geegOk54cgBVVSS5jOfif4j9CGfbfuL2PlLk0xi3XCmuLM55RkOcA4ta9q4hatuJ0xGIQdn7Lci3bQbIl6sASaDwMD6ZJQqtFPQ4ss2S0cHM1jMIZyiOTY0cpzveegRU0r0vR4DdJ3q1BwD9xttrXL4UIDY-e3f8MWx8BmomKrHg0EboytqP74V6urKlvbC-SbsOMsW4KliEhh02b1Ybx5qjeU_Yd0KxKWGBWNHEJn7YxdRtDxDAJohFnpkS=w1280-h720-no" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/yOX17odR-2QXVd8b29Wr7fBMlGFYv0ToLUbY7zSCHw3WBs_nj2SoTI6L8ZjvQxMyUYNga9UovN7HHOHr9CdPsh29kCmtbL0rh_x-2YBaXYCVk3JZEOUsxAFgo8PaLs0WbWKo490zvYzUQgpO9jFd_18W1yOMVaDrCBne96UZxReN5HHJ0RCWmdiSWTtpaYUOUviyNJRPYxwikPpDsztDmH9mNiBHnK9OKBxNzcFebKNqiq9Uy7_MysuGOS2kVwdd9uUr51-y8s7_DZuEdoC3LgO5YO8KatzknxBBF893a5S08V6bIQ3kAdurXxeNUPZgVtEJWtpm66-Nw4jM_mfhfHKy0qt3ZEYadY94geegOk54cgBVVSS5jOfif4j9CGfbfuL2PlLk0xi3XCmuLM55RkOcA4ta9q4hatuJ0xGIQdn7Lci3bQbIl6sASaDwMD6ZJQqtFPQ4ss2S0cHM1jMIZyiOTY0cpzveegRU0r0vR4DdJ3q1BwD9xttrXL4UIDY-e3f8MWx8BmomKrHg0EboytqP74V6urKlvbC-SbsOMsW4KliEhh02b1Ybx5qjeU_Yd0KxKWGBWNHEJn7YxdRtDxDAJohFnpkS=w1280-h720-no" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
The end model have been extensively converted and modelled to create that slimey and rotted look that papa Nurgle always favors. The driver is based on a plastic Skaven model with lots of sculpting to create the robes. Tiny bits and pieces were added to the cart, trying to avoid going overboard. I wanted to keep that one simple yet full of character. </div>

It has been such a long long time since I posted anything on this blog. I hope there are still people seeing my updates :P<br />
<br />
Anyways, here I am once again, finally managing to finish something off. Something I was building for quite a while now. You have probably by now seen my Skaven army building up through the pages of this blog. If not, do so now ;)<br />
<br />
In any case, I have always been fascinated with one of the most infamous Warhammer characters, the great <a href="http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Ikit_Claw" target="_blank">Skaven Chief Warlord Engineer of Clan Skyre, Ikit Claw</a>. Being a long time Skaven collector, I happen to have the old model of him, not that I dislike the newer version but as I always like to say, no school like old school! I always loved the character and the extreme details that this model have.<br />
<br />
But let the pictures just do the talking, I guess<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The model stands on a resin Armorcast base. I don't think they made these anymore, if they do please let me know as they are really great! I think it really makes the model stand even more out of the ordinary and it really suits well with the general archaic industrial feeling. I decided to go with a slightlty different color sceme than the original model, mostly because I wanted it to have a more fresh look, using metallics and washes to create this gritty and mechanical feeling. The banner is completely scratchbuilt from greenstuff and hand painted, using the original banner as a model.The base is finished with a pool of green shiny slime because... well nothing shouts out loud that an experiment went wrong more than green shiny slime ;)</div>

Hello everyone!<br /><br />Following my last post on my 3D printer I am happy to give you an update on my progress so far with this wonderful machine.<br />
<br />
After many test prints I have managed to build my first fully 3D printed model. The M5 British Halftrack.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KtxK9DdP_xo/Vp-EhyLbQuI/AAAAAAAAOQo/0-eyUyFsL34/s1600/CMON%2BM5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KtxK9DdP_xo/Vp-EhyLbQuI/AAAAAAAAOQo/0-eyUyFsL34/s1600/CMON%2BM5.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The main problem with 3D prints are the printing lines that are clearly visible, especially on the flat surfaces. I have tried removing them with putty and sanding them but they have been preserved. The 3D model was quite plain as well, not many details to be seen so I have decided to add some stowage for extra detailing. You can see some WIP pics below:<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-HqaYt_qQjEw/Vp-HwhY7G_I/AAAAAAAAORE/A8_6xHFoMCQ/s1600/IMG_7188.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-HqaYt_qQjEw/Vp-HwhY7G_I/AAAAAAAAORE/A8_6xHFoMCQ/s320/IMG_7188.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am currently working on more 3D printed WW2 models so expect more in the near future, as well as uploading some videos on my brand new YouTube channel, so keep an eye on this space for more! </div>

2016 started for me with a loud bang, and the reason is this bad boy over here...<br />

<br />
This is the brand new <a href="https://store.bq.com/en/hephestos-2" target="_blank">bq Hephestos 2 3D printer </a>. I have been toying with buying a 3D printer for quite a long time now but I wasn't sure I could find the proper model to get me started. After a long long research, I ended up to this bad boy over here which I believe is the perfect entry level model one can buy for under 1000 € . More on my opinion though after I get to work with it!<br />
<br />
As part of my entrance to the 3D printing world, I intend to start toying with the idea of creating my own <span style="color: red;">YouTube Channel</span>, starting off with some unpacking and assembly videos of my latest toy and of course, presentations and showcases of painted models and scenery from my evergrowing projects. Let me know what you think in the comments.<br />

To give you an idea of the functionality of this machine, take a look at this video<br />

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!!<br />

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I am more than happy to post this update at last. I managed to get out of my modelling stalemate and finally managed to finish something which I have been stirring in my <a href="http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/2015/10/reinventing-doom-wheel.html" target="_blank">workbench </a>for the past months, the wonderful model of the Skaven Exalted Vermin Lord from Forgeworld.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
It is a brilliant model, full of details and character and great pose. I enjoyed every second working with it and I am more than happy with the end result.<br />

Hello everyone! </div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
I have been extremely busy lately with work but I have also been able to check Age of sigmar with a couple of games and I must say that I totally love it. I know, I might sound heretical but the mere fact that it made me dig up my Skaven army is something that cannot be treated lightly. As far as I can tell, people either love or hate it. I am thinking of it as a perfect opportunity to play some Warhammer fantasy once again.</div>

As a part of this army reconstruction, I have decided to build the Forgeworld Vermin Lord that I had laying for quite a long time. It is a lovely model, full of character and detail. Here are some after construction pictures.</div>
<div dir="ltr">

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-82mlk9vEALM/Vho7ixmvV2I/AAAAAAAALtY/U6_ka9wpD3Y/s1600/IMG_20150908_000636.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-82mlk9vEALM/Vho7ixmvV2I/AAAAAAAALtY/U6_ka9wpD3Y/s400/IMG_20150908_000636.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have decided to build its lovely base up and build a cobbled floor with dwarven remains (dwarf players don't hate me please :P ) with wyrdstone chunks protruding just to spice things up. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
off to the painting booth then, pics of the finished model soon to come! Keep your eyes peeled for more vermin fun! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Till next time, take care!</div>
