Nurgle Rhino WIP and some happy dancing!

First of all I would like to thank you all once again for all your kind words about my Nurgle Helldrake! That kind of feedback is what drives me to continue building stuff!

Having that in mind and the Tournament I want to take part in on Sunday, I decided to build a Nurgle Rhino for my growing Chaos army, mostly because I want a ride for my Marines!

I had built a scratchbuilt paper Rhino a long time ago, when I was playing with Chaos back in the 3rd edition. It was a simple built, using some online template I had found and the result was something like this;

the "before" pics

I really liked that model, but I thought that I needed to bring it up to date with the rest of my models, so I decided to spice things up and use some bits I had around (like that great Armorcast hatch)

The end result looks like this

The pictures are a bit blurry but I had to use my cellphone again... Hope you get an idea, I will get better pictures when I finish it.

Last but definitely not least, The CoolMiniOrNot Annual is out at last!! And I am really proud to be part of it once again!

the model I have in the annual is my beloved Furioso Dreadnought, I have already placed my order and I can't wait to get my hands on it!!

Thats all from me for now, keep your eyes peeled for the painted version of my Rhino and have a great rest of your day with some nice tunes!

CoolMiniOrNot Annual 2011 invitation

Hello there!

I know I haven't been an active blogger lately but I decided to make this post to prove that I am here and I am actually keeping in touch with my wargaming stuff.

Soo... I recently got my invitation for the CoolMiniOrNot 2011 annual, which really got me happy dancing again. The invitation was for my Blood Angels Furioso Dreadnought. Thanks everyone who have voted for this miniature on CoolMiniOrNot and if u haven't done so far, well now its your chance... here; http://www.coolminiornot.com/272319

You can also see some WIP pics here; http://homeofcadaver.blogspot.gr/2011/02/blood-angels-furioso-dreadnought-wip.html

Did anyone else got invitations for the CMON Annual 2011? I would be happy to know and see of course!

As always, here is some music that keeps me motivated ;) !

Blood Angels Furioso Dreadnought Finished!

Helo again!

I just couldn't let this bad boy WIP for long and got it finished today! I have tested myself to several new things on this one, mainly ways to improve my weathering techniques. I am overall happy with how it turned out (and it seems that my client-friend is happy too :) ). I especially like the reds (although AGAIN the pic is not the best I could get... this red is the biggest pain in a photographers life I'm sure about it!).

So there it is, finished and waiting for your comments and votes

Blood Angels Furioso Dreadnought WIP

Hello again!

I would like to share some of my work again with you people, this time is a WIP of yet another Blood Angels piece, a Furioso Dreadnought.

This is not the new model as many would have thought, its a conversion using parts of the plastic Venerable and some Forgeworld claws and other BA bits.

I paint so many Blood Angels lately that people may think I actually play with them, but they are all commission pieces. I always liked BAs though, for their rich fluff and their paintsceme so it comes natural to me to have fun painting them even though they aren't my models.

Anyways, enough with the chatter and on to the pics...

There are quite a few things to finish, mainly the claws which I haven't yet decided the colorscheme (maybe some suggestions would be nice of you!) and of course the base.

So what do you think? Am I in the right track here?
