Rare and OOP models FOR SALE

Hello everyone!

I have decided to pe parted with some of the models of my collection mainly because I want to invest on some new hardware for my workshop (more on that on a later post ;) ) and of course because these are models I am definitely sure I won't be doing anything with them in the future so I guess it is only fair to have someone else be happy to own them.

These are the first two items I am putting out for sale. I have decided to avoid ebay for the time being, and try to find a buyer throught more conventional methods. So here I am posting them here first so as to get the opportunity to buy them if interested without those pesky extra ebay charges.

War Chariot of the Undead Legion - Masterpiece Editions by Grenadier Models

Originally Released in 1985. The box is in near-mint condition with some wear and tear on the edges (as it can be seen from the pictures) mostly due to time. Other than that is a never used item, the miniatures inside are unpainted and unassembled and all pieces are included. The only thing that is missing from the original packaging is the insert which can easily be found (check the links below)

Age of Sigmar-Sylvaneth/Warhammer Fantasy-Wood Elves - Sisters of The Thorn

This is a mint condition, plastic wrapped boxed set of Sylvaneth (or Wood Elves as formerly known) Sisters of the Thorn. The set can build Wild Riders as well. It is brand new, never used before.

The prices include PayPal fees but not shipping costs. I ship worldwide, if you are interested message me and I will give you a quote. The item will be packaged best way possible to ensure it will reach its destination undamaged.

Skaven Chief Warlord Engineer Ikit Claw

It has been such a long long time since I posted anything on this blog. I hope there are still people seeing my updates :P

Anyways, here I am once again, finally managing to finish something off. Something I was building for quite a while now. You have probably by now seen my Skaven army building up through the pages of this blog. If not, do so now ;)

In any case, I have always been fascinated with one of the most infamous Warhammer characters, the great Skaven Chief Warlord Engineer of Clan Skyre, Ikit Claw. Being a long time Skaven collector, I happen to have the old model of him, not that I dislike the newer version but as I always like to say, no school like old school! I always loved the character and the extreme details that this model have.

But let the pictures just do the talking, I guess

The model stands on a resin Armorcast base. I don't think they made these anymore, if they do please let me know as they are really great! I think it really makes the model stand even more out of the ordinary and it really suits well with the general archaic industrial feeling. I decided to go with a slightlty different color sceme than the original model, mostly because I wanted it to have a more fresh look, using metallics and washes to create this gritty and mechanical feeling. The banner is completely scratchbuilt from greenstuff and hand painted, using the original banner as a model. The base is finished with a pool of green shiny slime because... well nothing shouts out loud that an experiment went wrong more than green shiny slime ;)

As always I would love to hear your comments, remarks and anything else you would like to share with me, plus if you have the time, leave a vote for this fella on CoolMiniOrNot

Till next time, take care!

Skaven Exalted Vermin Lord finished

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!!

I am more than happy to post this update at last. I managed to get out of my modelling stalemate and finally managed to finish something which I have been stirring in my workbench for the past months, the wonderful model of the Skaven Exalted Vermin Lord from Forgeworld.

It is a brilliant model, full of details and character and great pose. I enjoyed every second working with it and I am more than happy with the end result.

I would love to hear what you guys think! As always comments and remarks are more than welcome! Don't forget to leave me a vote on CoolMiniOrNot as always!

Temple of Skulls and more Confrontation goodies

Hello people!

I have just finished painting a Games Workshop terrain piece to use mainly for my Confrontation games, but Fantasy is also an option lately, mainly because of the awesome Fantasy releases that really got me thinking of revisiting Warhammer Fantasy after all this time.

Here is the finished terrain

new ebay listings

Hello everyone

I am posting today to shamelessly advertise my ebay listings to all of you :)

I have decided to sell some stuff I have laying around to make some cash and space to get myself one of these cool new Knight Titans everyone is talking about!

First thing I am selling is an old conversion I did a little while ago, part of a commission that never completed.

A heavily converted ethereal Undead Knight that would look great as an addition to any Vampire Counts army. You can see some WIP pictures below, most of the model is sculpted out of greenstuff and Miliput.

The model is rated and I would love to see some of your votes on CoolMiniOrNot.

here is the link for the ebay auction, I would love to answer to any further questions you may have.

There are some other things I am also selling these days, lots of stuff for wargamers. Have a look if you like!

the Empire strikes back

My relationship with Warhammer Fantasy was always a weird one. Is like having this really cool relative that you love so much but you rarely get to see or visit, you always learn news though and try to contact him as much as you can.

I don't know if I managed to give you a picture here or I confused you more but the thing I'm trying to say is that I love this game so much but due to a bunch of reasons, I don't get to play or paint Fantasy any more... which is really sad cause I absolutely love my 2 main armies... Skaven and The Empire

If you happen to follow my blog here, you may have noticed some articles in the past talking about my never ending Skaven project. But I recently noticed that my blog doesn't contain any reference on my aeons old Empire project, as well as my single most favorite creation of all times, my Steam Tank Invictus. Another thing that makes it even weirder is that I got the model on my blog's banner from the beginning but I never got the chance to show it fully (unless you've seen it over in Coolminiornot or Deviantart)

Anyways... cutting the story shorter I would like to present you my Empire stuff!

The slideshow below shows some more projects that were left unfinished giving you an idea on what I would like to do with my models and what a big fan I am of the gun powder of Nuln :P

With all these said and done its easy to say that I got my Empire fever getting high again! I really need a break from all my 40K projects so get ready for a new Empire update really soon! ;)

Last but not least some music to groove your summer afternoons! Till next time, take care!

CoolMiniOrNot Annual 2010 just landed...

... and it brings my first printed painted miniature on a publication

and this model is my Plague Furnace

It was so nice to see that this model got so much attention! I loved all the feedback I gathered and the peak of it all was the invitation to join the CoolMiniOrNot 2010 Annual Publication.

I already ordered my copy! Can't wait to get my hands on it! :)

Christmas happy dance commence!
And as always, some music for the road... (I know I shared this track again, but I can't help it)

Double the fun...

Yes I know, its been a long while since I have posted anything completed here... but as I have already said, life is always giving you things to get your hands full and this whole last month hasn't been an exception to that...

BUT I am ready to make it up for you with 2 brand new paintjobs I have just finished for a painting contest organized by the Greek Warhammer Forum and I would really like to get your feedback as they are painted for a contest as I said.

Ork Big Mek with Custom Force Field

This guy is one of my favourite GW sculpts and I really just needed a chance to get my brushes on him. I really had a blast painting him. I would love to see your votes on CMON as well!

Skaven Warlord Queek Headtaker

Another great mini, although I was kinda connected emotionally to the older version of him, I got him for a bargain and of course I couldn't resist some skaven painting. Maybe this would be the kick for me to get involved with my eternally building Skaven army again, who knows ... In the meantime, leave him a vote as well! ;)

Inspiration for these guys (especially for the ork) came out of these AWESOME band! They're stuck in repeat the past few days...
