Paint removal tutorial
Back again with an article bringing you a tutorial on a process that most of you modelers have definitely stumbled upon.
As you may probably have seen in my previous article, I am back on the modeling train and this time I am getting excited on the brand new Necromunda release.

That being said, being an old school gamer I love my old school minis more than anything so I figured out that this is a marvelous idea to bring them out of their boxes and make them 2018 compatible.

Merry Christmas to all, straight from the Underhive
Hello and Ho Ho Ho!!
Merry Christmas to all! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and your stockings are full of wargaming and modelling presents.
You may have noticed my Shadow War Armageddon post lately. It really woke my primordial lust for Necromunda. Don't get me wrong, Shadow War is a great game, it is based on the original Necromunda mechanics anyways so it was like playing the same game again, but it kinda missed something! The original Necromunda gangs! I wanted to field my good old gangs that were picking up dust.
I know it took me a while to mention Necromunda in this blog, especially since you know I love my Adeptus Arbites so much but I have been busy as hell lately. Now with all this Christmas vacation in front of me I have decided to make some of the lost time up and update my Necromunda craze.
One of my all time favorite warbands are definitely house Delaque. There is something so Matrix-ey and ultra cool about guys all dressed up in longcoats. As an added bonus, their fluff of them being so sneaky traitors and backstabbers really gets my gears going.
My Delaque warband is almost complete. It consists of every oldschool model released back in the day with the exception of the 2nd leader variant with the power axe. I have decided to have a complete makeover and rebuilt the models to make them look more up to date.
The models were painted really bad back in the day, not from my hands and I always wanted to repaint them at some point but I never got around doing it. So what better timing now than the official rebooting of the whole Necromunda game.
That said, the models needed their paint stripped. I have a technique that works really well both on metal and plastic and I will share it with you on a different article because I think that it will be of interest to a lot of you. Keep your eyes peeled then.
The other thing that kinda puzzled me with this restoration project was the base size. GW has introduced 32" bases to the new Goliath gang in the boxed set and I didn't want to have my Delaque based wrong. It seems though that Goliath are based like that on purpose because of their bulkiness. Having this in mind, I started basing them to the good ol 25" size. You can see some of the progress done in the following pictures.
So there you have it, stay tuned for more Necromunda madness the next days ;)
Till next time take care!

Warzone Resurrection Emancipator Aircraft WIP - more videos from my channel
Hello everyone!
You may have seen my previous post on Warzone Resurrection Unboxing the stuff I got from Prodos Games and it became really apparent to me that I would definitely start building the Emancipator Aircraft. I really fell in love with that model right from the start.

Arr mateys, dis is captain Cadaver speaking wiv yet annuver Orkish goodie post!
It seems that I overly enjoyed myself over my last Ork Project and here I am looting my bits over some more ork conversions. This time I have decided to revisit my old Flash Gitz Pirate conversions. Da kult uv speed - WIP Deffkopta/Jetbike/youtellmewhatthisis
Hello everyone, I know it's been a while since my last article but as always life had other plans leaving my hobby aside.
Trying to get my creative juices flowing once again, I have decided to finish a really old project of mine that I never had the chance to finish. My Deffcopta conversion.
Posting this on Facebook last night, a friendly commenter pointed out that it looks more than an orky jetbike more than anything else, so I may eventually go with that option. Any possible suggestions are more than welcome in the comments below ;)

The model is based on an old Warzone model and lots of various orky bits and gubbinz. I am going of course for a full old school evil sunz paint scheme.
The model is still a WIP, but you can get an idea of where I am going with this. I would really like to hear what you think.
Lastly, you may have already figured out by now the changes in the website layout. The site is also a WIP but I would also like to hear your comments so far.
Till next time, take care and have a good one!

Death Guard Contemptor Dreadnought WIP (Part 2) - Dreadtober Challenge #2
Hello everyone!
This week I have continued work on my Death Guard Contemptor Dreadnought as part of the Dreadtober Challenge #2 and I must say that I reached a point with weathering that I am happy with. The main colors are finished and I will move on now to the metallics.
I have already did the base colors of the metallics, for both the model and the base. I know that this weeks challenge is the base itself, but I have it already finished since I was lasy enough to use a resin scenic base for my model :P
I have been working on the model for quite a long time, when I realised that I needed to be adding some green too, as the color sceme of the Death Guard has green in it, something that completely slipped my mind. So here I was, completely covering all my hard worked weathering on the shoulder pads and knee pads with green and of course I had to reweather the specific areas again... That cost me some time but it wasn't such a big fuss after all.
That said, here is the current WIPs of my model. There are a lot of things still needed to be done but I think we are getting there...

Death Guard Contemptor Dreadnought WIP - Dreadtober Challenge #1
Hello everyone!
Joe from Broken Paintbrush got me digging up my Forgeworld boxes to build something I have purchased aeons ago with his Dreadtober Challenge #2 , the Contemptor Dreadnought
As you may probably have already seen from the pics, I tried to keep it as simple and original as possible. The model itself is a beauty and I dont want to spoil it with too many conversions. That said, I only added some Death Guard photo ethced iconography that I had laying around, adding to the model fluff and flavor. The model is based on a resin base from http://www.modelsandminis.com/.
Oddly enough, the model proved to be a pain in assembly mostly trying to find the correct pose. I wanted to pose it like it is searching for its next target, setting aside all obstacles in its way.
For the painting part, I am planning to keep it as close as possible with my other Death Guard models, extremely weathered and battle torn.
Keep an eye on further updates as I will start painting it soon, as part of the challenge I must keep the project rolling and finish it by the end of the month.
As always comments and remarks are more than welcome!

M5 British Halftrack 3D printed
Hello everyone!
Following my last post on my 3D printer I am happy to give you an update on my progress so far with this wonderful machine.
After many test prints I have managed to build my first fully 3D printed model. The M5 British Halftrack.
Following my last post on my 3D printer I am happy to give you an update on my progress so far with this wonderful machine.
After many test prints I have managed to build my first fully 3D printed model. The M5 British Halftrack.
The main problem with 3D prints are the printing lines that are clearly visible, especially on the flat surfaces. I have tried removing them with putty and sanding them but they have been preserved. The 3D model was quite plain as well, not many details to be seen so I have decided to add some stowage for extra detailing. You can see some WIP pics below:
I am currently working on more 3D printed WW2 models so expect more in the near future, as well as uploading some videos on my brand new YouTube channel, so keep an eye on this space for more!
I would love to hear what you think and as always check my CoolMiniOrNot entry for your votes and comments.

Adeptus Arbites Suppressor squad WIP
Hello everyone!
Following my previous posts over my Adeptus Arbites project I would like to show you my Suppressor squad. I wanted to create a squad using the lovely heads I got over a long time ago from Maxmini miniatures and the shields I got from Zinge Industries.
Following my previous posts over my Adeptus Arbites project I would like to show you my Suppressor squad. I wanted to create a squad using the lovely heads I got over a long time ago from Maxmini miniatures and the shields I got from Zinge Industries.
For the leader of the squad I used the limited edition event only Forgeworld Imperial Enforcer. A lovely miniautre that I can't wait to get it painted!
For the rest of the conversion, I used Space Marines Scout legs, Cadian torsos and various hands from space marines and Cadians with greenstuff to achieve the pose I wanted. Finally the power mauls are made from Berzerker chainaxes and power axes, with the axe chopped off. I finished the models using resin bases from Models and Minis.

Temple of Skulls and more Confrontation goodies
Hello people!
I have just finished painting a Games Workshop terrain piece to use mainly for my Confrontation games, but Fantasy is also an option lately, mainly because of the awesome Fantasy releases that really got me thinking of revisiting Warhammer Fantasy after all this time.
Here is the finished terrain
As always, I would love to see your votes on CoolMiniOrNot and your comments of course!

applying the Bauhaus Transfers plus... BloodBowl!
Hello everyone!
Continuing my summer vacation, I am putting into work all my projects that have been left behind.
I have got a nice feedback on my Bauhaus Transfer sheet that I posted on my previous post, and I have decided to give you an update on how nice it works on my latest Warzone project, The Grizzly
The photo is kinda crappy, its a real pain to photograph many models at once. I will try to have better pics soon, as I am also finishing my Chaos team!
I painted the team in the colors of the famous Reikland Reavers, I think it worked pretty well.
As always comments and remarks are more than welcome.
I'm leaving you with some tunes that are stuck in my playlist ever since this album was released! Till next time, take care!!

You can also catch a glimpse on the paintjob. More coming soon! ;)
Another thing I am really excited about lately is BloodBowl. I have played quite a few friendly games with a friend, enough to make me dig out my old Human Team and give them a new facelift. Some of the models had old paintjobs, others were just primed, the Ogre model is Buzzcut from Mantic's Dreadball with a minor alteration of new shoulderpads and of course a new base. I am so in love with this model, I love how dynamic the pose is. I think I am going to keep his name too! :P

Warzone Resurrection Bauhaus. WIP army display and Decal Sheet
Hello everyone!
Summer time is here and while everyone is splashing their ways through beaches and islands around Greece, I am still trapped working.
I have managed though to find time to start (yet another) project, this time non Warhammer related.
Back in the day, Warhammer was not the only player in the grimdark future sci fi wargaming market. Warzone was the main competitor and it did pretty well, managing almost to outrun Games Workshop... but it eventually failed, following a series of bad business decisions.
I have a big number of old Warzone minis, mainly due to the fact that I found them cheap over my local game store when the company stopped producing the game. I thought them as a cheap alternative for 40K conversions, and sadly most of these models ended up chopped and slashed in unfortunate conversions.
Lots have passed since then and the news that there was a Kickstarter campaign from Prodos Games planning to reboot the game hit me like lightning. I didn't have the chance to try the game back then, maybe this was the perfect chance to do it now. The Kickstarter went really well and Warzone Resurrection was a reality!
Long story short, I started digging my old Bauhaus miniatures, rebasing them and preparing to test the new rules. I even got my hands on the brand new Grizzly and Max Steiner models, all perfect to get me going for a start.
This is my army so far
The other thing that I decided to do with this project was to create my own Bauhaus decal sheet. The prospect of free-handing all the Bauhaus symbols on the models was a bit nightmarish, After some time on Corel and Photoshop, I ended up with this;

My Vulcan Battlesuit conversion, based on the old Target Games model, heavily converted though to match the current rules. |
Max Steiner, the brand new model of the Venusian Ranger leader |
The almighty Grizzly! Really cool looking model and so easy to assemble |
Another view of the Grizzly |
And yet another one! |
There is a small off scale problem with the Grizzly in my opinion. The doors and the hatches are a tad too small, it still looks awesome though :P |
I decided to make things more interesting in the back by adding some stowage and filling some gaps with greenstuff. Still need some filing to do though... |
I made some small adjustments to the rest of the model as well, mainly pinning the turrets to the hull to keep them in place! |
It isn't something special but I it will be ok for now. I added some military style numbers and letters to use in vehicles. You can type this in A4 paper in any kind of decal paper. I followed the instructions from here to make mine!
I would love to hear your comments on this project, are there any people out there that play the Warzone reboot? What do you think of my decal sheet? I am open to suggestions on making it better!
Till next time, take care!
