Blood Angels Techmarine with Servo Harness

Hello everyone!

This time I have another piece of the Blood Angels commission I am currently working on these days, a Tech Marine with servo harness. A great model but there are so much going on that I think it may be a little over the top.

I have also painted the limited edition piece in the past, you can check him out in CoolMiniOrNot.

I'm pretty much pleased with how it came out, as always photographing red is a complete nightmaire. Anywayz, tell me what you think and maybe leave me a vote as always! ;)

  1. Your paint job is simply stunning. But I think you are right about this particular sculpt, kind of a lot going on detail wise. Same reason I will never paint Lemartes.

  2. Thanks a lot CounterFett! When this model originally came out I thought that it was really impressive but now that I painted it twice I think is a little too much! The old Lemartes model was a joke! As for the new one, its definately a great model but its really fancy, as with all space marine characters I guess!

  3. Nice work! Yes, the model looks very intricate, I would hate having to paint something complicated like that. I feel dizzy just by thinking about it!

  4. I really like this one. I think the red is a perfect shade- not too "bright" and not too "muddy". He does have a lot going on- but your skull on the back is a fantastic touch.

  5. Thanks a lot for your comments! He sure is a complicated model Antipope, all those cables could drive you insane :P but I managed to pull it through. So glad that you liked the red Loquacious, I am always nervous on how the reds are going to come up in a model!

  6. That is very nice, given the complexity of the model! How long did it take to paint? And the basing is also well done, is it a resin pre made base?

  7. Thanks Elhion! It took me about 3 days to finish and yes it is a really complex model! The base is Micro Art which I think fits perfectly with the model!
